Is your Freeze-Dried food raw?

No, we do not classify our Freeze-Dried Feasts as raw. During the freeze-drying process, our recipes are gently heat treated to help ensure food safety and quality. Through the freeze-drying process, moisture is removed while helping preserve the nutrients and flavour of the ingredients. This allows us to deliver the benefits of high-meat, raw-inspired nutrition in a safe and convenient format.

Is freeze-dried poultry safe to feed my pet right now?

Yes, our poultry products are completely safe to feed. We source poultry from trusted New Zealand suppliers and every batch goes through rigorous food safety controls - including a controlled heat step, before it reaches your pet's bowl.

How do you ensure your products are safe?

Nothing is more important to us than the safety and quality of the food we make. We carefully source the whole-food ingredients used in our Freeze-Dried Feasts from trusted New Zealand suppliers, with traceability back to the farm or fishery wherever possible. Our Complete & Balanced recipes are formulated to meet AAFCO nutritional requirements for dogs and cats and undergo stringent quality and safety checks throughout production.

Where do your ingredients come from?

For all of our Freeze-Dried recipes, we source the finest ingredients from New Zealand's rich natural environment. From grass-fed and finished red meats and sustainably sourced seafood to cage-free chicken and nutrient-rich produce, every ingredient is carefully selected for the nutrition it brings to your pet's bowl.

How is Freeze-Dried food made?

Our Freeze-Dried Feasts are complete & balanced, nutrient-dense recipes made with high-quality New Zealand ingredients. Using a gentle freeze-drying process, we remove moisture while helping preserve the nutrients, flavour and goodness of fresh, whole-food ingredients. The result is convenient, high-meat nutrition that delivers the benefits of raw feeding in an easy-to-serve format.

How are your cans & pouches made?

Our Canned and Pouch recipes deliver high-meat, complete and balanced nutrition with natural hydration from fresh New Zealand water. The products are sealed in cans or pouches, and thermally processed under carefully controlled conditions. This process ensures safety and shelf stability without the need for preservatives, while helping retain the nutrients and flavour of the ingredients inside.
